Pilot Car Escort Services for Oversize and Heavy-Haul Loads
Big loads need more than a good driver. They need eyes out front and eyes out back. That's what we do.
Chase Pilot Car
We follow behind the load. We warn traffic coming up from the rear and help your driver with lane changes and turns.
Lead and Chase Coverage
Some moves need an escort on both ends. Request lead and chase when you book and we'll plan the setup with you.
Heavy-Haul Escort Support
Heavy equipment, machinery and structural materials take extra care on the road. We escort permitted loads that need it.
What Does a Pilot Car Do?
A pilot car is an escort vehicle that travels with an oversize load. It's not the truck. It doesn't carry the freight.
Its job is support. A pilot car gives your driver a better read on the road. It also lets other drivers know a big load is coming through.
KRB Transportation provides the escort. We don't haul loads. That keeps us focused on one thing. Getting your load down the road with the support it needs.
